Urgent system-wide standards needed to direct schools’ use of edtech: report
Australian schools urgently need universal regulatory standards and quality assurance controls to ensure the edtech tools they use are of benefit to learning and don’t involve the unethical and unsafe mining of data, experts have urged.
“Edtech decision makers currently select and implement technologies with far too little information about what is likely to work in their schools," Leslie Loble AM says.
