'Untimed syllabus' could be public education's most radical change in years

Trials of a radical ‘untimed syllabus’ proposal may soon be underway in New South Wales, in what could be the biggest shake-up to traditional schooling in years.

Under the proposal, students who perform well in a particular subject area would be able to move on to advanced content early.
