At least 126,000 children from Australia’s poorest families are missing out on early childhood education due to “unfair” red tape.
The researchers found that families earning between $50,000 and $100,000 annually are over six times as likely to be limited to just one day of subsidised childcare per week, compared to families earning over $200,000 annually.
