Teachers, why do we tolerate racist attitudes in our schools? It’s time to step up

In the past decade while I’ve been working as a pre-service and then casual teacher, I’ve heard leading teachers utter statements grounded in racism, prejudice and/or ignorance.

Speak up and challenge less-than-inclusive practices in our classrooms and staffrooms. We are part of the problem.
