Strike averted as Qld teachers secure new pay deal

Queensland teachers will enjoy pay rises of 2.5 per cent per year over the next three years under a new agreement, the State Government said today.

Top Qld teachers will earn $110,500 under the deal, State Education Minister Grace Grace said.
