Report Card Headline maker of the year: Kevin Donnelly
It has been an exciting year in education, with many people proving to be worthy contenders for the 2014 Headline Maker title. As the co-chair of the Abbott Government’s recent review of the National Curriculum, Dr Kevin Donnelly has spent more than his fair share of time in the media spotlight this year. While his comments about corporal punishment earlier this year were not well received, the final report of the review certainly was. Here, Donnelly shares his highlights for 2014.
