President Profile: Steven Sexton, New Zealand Association of Science Educators

Steven Sexton moved to New Zealand while starting his PhD at the University of Sydney where he worked with participants from Australia and New Zealand. Currently in his second year as president of the New Zealand Association of Science Educators, Sexton is keen to encourage more primary schools to be involved in the science education community. He talks with EducationHQ New Zealand about the priorities of his association for 2015, and why he believes it is important for science teachers to be a part of a professional association.
