NSW schools to cancel overseas trips amid fears of coronavirus pandemic

The NSW Education Department has instructed schools to cancel all overseas trips this term due to the threat of coronavirus.

There have been 88,000 officially diagnosed cases of coronavirus across 67 countries so far.

A Department of Education spokesperson told EducationHQ that exemption requests by schools will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
