Nicholls’ ‘different’ first year as a teacher
Any teacher’s first year in the field is challenging to say the least, let alone starting out in 2020 as the COVID-19 crisis descended on the world, but that’s exactly what South Australia’s Damien Nicholls faced as his education career kicked off.

Damien Nicholls says his number one priority is student wellbeing, making sure that everyone’s comfortable, safe and able to come to school and feel like they’re going to be able to enjoy themselves, but also feel safe in their learning environment.
