Experts call for new taskforce to tackle rampant violence against principals

Researchers are calling for an independent authority to investigate violence against principals, following the release of the latest Australian Principal Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Survey.

Principals in this year's survey reported worsened rates of burnout, sleeping troubles and stress.

According to the survey, school leaders experience physical violence at nearly ten times the rate of the general population.
