A draft of New Zealand’s new science curriculum leaked to teachers has caused alarm throughout the science education community, leaving many asking ‘where’s the science?’.

Teachers who have spoken anonymously to RNZ have called the curriculum draft “embarrassing”, and say it will lead to “appalling” declines in student achievement.
