Email causing 'digital burnout' in teachers: cyberpsychologist

When the neurons just aren’t firing and your mind feels wedged in a blank abyss, the experience of digital burnout can be a testing thing to describe.

Brewer says email is mostly “not fit for purpose” as a key school communication tool, and our constant availability and the impulse to respond instantly to emails day and sometimes at night, is a direct route to burnout.
