Cut the violence: A new Vic campaign is tackling youth-related knife crime
Crime Stoppers Victoria and Victoria Police have launched a new campaign in a bid to reduce the skyrocketing incidences of knife-related crime involving school-age youngsters.
Students consulted for the campaign were emphatic that mothers should be included. “They wanted to show the impact on the family – because they felt that really would resonate with young people, because it resonated with them,” Crime Stoppers CEO Stella Smith says.
