These free and interactive 30-minute sessions give students the chance to meet Aussie farmers and learn first-hand how modern Australian cattle and livestock farming is world-leading.
Sessions explore the who, what and how of managing a sustainable and efficient farm business using cutting-edge agtech.
Designed to support Australian Curriculum v9.0 learning outcomes, each session includes topic-related cross-curricular F-6 school resources filled with factual and contextual knowledge about Australia’s red meat and livestock industry.
With strong links to HASS, Science, Digital Technologies, and Sustainability, students will gain a deeper understanding of food
provenance and sustainable production practices.
Students are engaged throughout the session with interactive quizzes, live farmer Q&A, and building on the success of the program, we’ve answered teacher feedback asking for even more!
Sessions include a bonus 10 minutes farmer Q&A time, and teachers now have access to additional pre and post resources for beyond the session learning.

Life on the Farm (F-2)
Lower primary students will be introduced to the basics of Australian beef cattle farming led by a qualified educational facilitator and a real farmer.
Topics explore caring for the animals and the environment, along with a show and tell about technology used in a modern farming business.

Future Farming (3-6)
Designed for upper primary students to explore how technology and sustainability are shaping modern Australian farming, from drones to drought management.
Students will learn how farmers work with nature to support biodiversity and conserve the environment to manage a productive, efficient farming business.
