Aligned with the Australian Curriculum v9.0, the sessions are supplemented with free cross-curricular school resources containing the most current Australian red meat industry information. All sessions are hosted by a qualified teacher and have strong links to HASS, Science, Digital Technologies and the cross-curriculum priority area of Sustainability.

Students are kept engaged from beginning to end with fun quizzes, live Q&A and the opportunity to interact with the farmer. Due to popular demand, an additional 10 minutes with the farmers for more LIVE Q&A questions has been added to each session.

A hit among teachers and students, the live zoom video streams are divided into two distinct focus areas and have been specifically designed to suit either lower or upper primary school students.

Life on the Farm –Tailored for lower primary, F-2 students will hear direct from a farmer to learn about working on the farm, caring for the animals and the environment, along with how technology is used on farms.

The session provides an age appropriate introduction to farm life.

Future Farming – Designed for upper primary 3-6, this session focuses on modern day future-focused farming by exploring technology and sustainable practices.

Students will learn about different types of technology and how these have changed over time, along with what sustainable farming means and how these practices are used in Australian farming.

Farmers will explain how technology and sustainable farming improves their business and benefits their animals and their farming environment.

All sessions are linked to the Australian Curriculum for Foundation to Year 6 students by bringing together learnings from:

● HASS

● design and technologies

● and the cross-curriculum priority area of Sustainability.
