Australian schools lagging on food literacy, expert says

Imagine a classroom littered with gritty shards of parmesan, potent crumbs of blue cheese and a few hunks of gooey brie for good measure. Now imagine sitting down with a troupe of seven- year-olds to taste test and discuss the finer points of these gourmet dairy offerings – would your students be up for the experiment?
