Being a teacher is difficult enough, so we want to make sure that your school camp experience is a truly memorable and enjoyable one.

We’re here to help make it the best experience for both you and your students.

From the very beginning, we work with you to discover your desired learning outcomes from a camp experience, and structure a program specifically tailored to your group. Whether it’s building resilience, teamwork, communication or just merely to have fun, we can structure an activity program to bring out the best in your students.

What makes PGL Adventure Camps different?

“Groupies”

We know how an extra pair of hands can make all the difference to your camp experience, which is where our Group Leaders (or ‘Groupies’) come in. Each school is assigned their own ‘Groupie’ for the entire duration of your camp. A Group Leader’s role is to assist you with the smooth running of your course and to take some of the pressure off your shoulders so you can enjoy yourself along with your students. The Groupie is there to provide any assistance and answer any questions you might have.

“We have just returned from a two night camp. Our school loved PGL Campaspe Downs; the setting is idyllic, the cabins were warm and clean. The children loved the activities which were led by experienced leaders who knew how to work with children. Our teachers appreciated the teachers lounge which had its own deck overlooking the lake. The staff were very helpful no matter what time you needed assistance. I had an AV issue after hours and a staff member came to the rescue well after business hours. 100% instructor-led sessions

All activity sessions on a PGL Adventure Camp are 100% led by our instructors*, taking the pressure off you and meaning that you are free to engage and bond with your students. All activity instructors are specially trained for our programmes to ensure the delivery of safe and rewarding sessions. Friendly and caring, their encouragement helps your children to reach further, overcome challenges, achieve more and have fun.

With our activities, our philosophy is about ‘challenge by choice’ meaning that we facilitate students to step outside their comfort zone and into their stretch zone. They can then walk away from the program with increased self-esteem, a sense of pride and, most importantly, having had fun in the activities they participated in.

Evening Entertainment

The fun doesn’t end when the sun goes down! We provide staffed activities for each night that you’re on camp to take the pressure off you. This could be anything from a photo challenge to a sports night or a campfire circle. We provide the staffing and all resources required, so that you can relax and enjoy the evening with your students. After a full day of activities and evening entertainment, your students will be looking forward to getting their heads onto a pillow, ready to wake up and have even more adventures tomorrow!
