How to make life easier for yourself as a beginner teacher

As a beginning teacher, you’re typically responsible for 21 one-hour periods of teaching per week. Often this is spread over five classes, but you might be teaching a dozen cohorts, or more.

Be sure to ask your school what systems are in place to support beginning teachers when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of program, unit and lesson planning.
