About the Role:

As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students who face educational, social, emotional, attendance, or behavioural challenges. You will work collaboratively with students, families, school staff, and external agencies to create a nurturing environment that promotes student wellbeing and success.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising with students, caregivers/families, teachers, and external agencies to address and resolve educational, social, attendance/engagement and behavioural challenges.
  • Monitoring student attendance and implementing strategies to encourage consistent school engagement.
  • Developing and delivering programs that build social skills, self-esteem, and resilience.
  • Conducting home visits to support families and provide strategies for improving students' educational experiences.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
