Veritas Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Colne, Pendle, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Class Teacher for a full-time temporary position until December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can create engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences and build positive relationships with pupils.

The Role

As a Year 3 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons
  • Follow and develop the KS2 curriculum
  • Set high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, including SEND
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Support pupils' academic and personal development

    • We're Looking For

    The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching Year 3 or KS2
  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, organised and committed
  • Have high expectations of all pupils
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive team

    • ECTs with relevant KS2 experience are welcome to apply.
