As the Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing children for the transition into Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and creative lessons that ignite curiosity, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning. You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team and collaborative colleagues who are passionate about sharing ideas and helping one another succeed.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
  • Deliver creative, engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire all learners.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where children feel confident to achieve.
  • Hold high expectations for behaviour, progress and attainment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive staff team.
  • Be passionate about helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally.
