Veritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Colne, Pendle, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Class Teacher for a full-time temporary position until December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can create engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences while building positive relationships with pupils.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons
  • Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Set high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, including SEND
  • Create a positive, stimulating and supportive classroom
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Support pupils' academic, social and personal development

    • We're Looking For

  • Experience teaching Year 2 or across KS1
  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • An enthusiastic, organised and committed approach
  • High expectations of all pupils
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
