Veritas Education are currently seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in secondary schools across Blackburn and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact within the classroom, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects.
  • Work with individual students and small groups to support learning and attainment.
  • Assist students with additional learning needs where required.
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support behaviour management and student wellbeing.

    • Requirements:

  • Level 2, Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
