Teaching Assistant Required - Lancaster Area Start Date: Monday 2nd November 2026

Veritas Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Lancaster area.

This is a part-time position, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm, during term time only.

The successful candidate will support within a KS1 classroom, carrying out general Teaching Assistant duties and working closely with the class teacher to help pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Start date: Monday 2nd November 2026
  • 15 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am to 12:00pm
  • Term-time only
  • General Teaching Assistant duties in KS1
  • Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
  • Working as part of a supportive school team

    • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a primary school or classroom setting
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
