Position Information

Chifley College Bidwill Campus is a comprehensive 7-12 campus in Chifley College, located in Western Sydney on the land of the Darug people. We share our site with Bidwill Public School and Bidwill Preschool, giving us a uniquely family oriented, community atmosphere and culture. A support unit is also part of our school. Current enrolment is approximately 720, which has been steadily growing over the last five years. Approximately 39% of students are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and approximately 45% of students are Pasifika.

Specific Selection Criteria
  • Approval to teach Technology Mandatory.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of a faculty and contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating high level teaching programs and resources within the faculty, which support student engagement and learning outcomes. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to contribute to faculty and whole-school programs and build positive relationships with staff, students and parents.
Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
