Position Information

Brookvale Public School is a long-established school of 320 students on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Staff design personalised learning to meet the needs of all students in a safe, happy and supportive environment. The school is situated in the heart of the Brookvale on Sydney's Northern Beaches, and is supported by a dedicated P&C.

Brookvale Public School consists of 12 mainstream classes, an Opportunity Class and an Autism Support Class.

Specific Selection Criteria
  1. Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Autism, using evidence-based strategies to support complex communication, sensory, social and behavioural needs.

     

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
