Who We Are:

At Morven State School we aim to ensure every student is succeeding in their education.

We are preparing students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to participate effectively in the community and successfully transition to further education. 

Morven State School, established in 1887, is located in the Darling Downs South West region and is a part of the Charleville State Schools cluster.

The school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in a multi-age class and offers curriculum programmes across the eight key learning areas, in line with the Australian Curriculum and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.  

The Rural and Remote Education Access Program (RREAP) provides support for overcoming geographical isolation.

  • Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
  • Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
