About the Role: 

In this role, you'll:

  • Provide tailored individual and group counselling to students, parents, and families to address personal or relationship concerns.
  • Deliver professional social welfare assessments, interventions, and follow-up support as needed.
  • Identify needs and coordinate referrals to community agencies, such as health and welfare services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage parents/carers and the community in school activities and programs.
  • Support school communities in responding to critical incidents as part of the school response team.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing integrated support for students and families.
  • Experience in mental health and educational settings is highly valued.
