An opportunity exists to join the BCEO ITS Business Engagement Team to support the day-to-day operation of Ascender/aPay, extending to the integration with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central towards the end of the year.

About the role: As a HR Systems Specialist, you will:
  • Provide expert support for Ascender/aPay modules, including handling customizations, Web Self-Service (WSS), and the Extend module.
  • Assist with user maintenance, investigate and resolve issues, and collaborate with business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Manage user requests efficiently through the Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining the integrity and functionality of the core system.
  • Lead and take ownership of issue resolution, actively participating in troubleshooting efforts and collaborating with a dynamic team.
  • Work closely with the Payroll/HR solutions team, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR business processes and systems
About you: 
  • Relevant qualification and experience in education, business, information technology, information systems or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting end users through transformation of process, practice and technology
  • Understanding of Project and Change Management practices as they relate to information systems support, optimisation and implementation
