Veritas Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Bury and the surrounding areas. We have flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous)
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
  • Plan and assess work where required for longer-term assignments
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners

    • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for education and student progress
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
