Veritas Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Burnley and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities available for short-term, long-term, and potential permanent placements, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire students and promote a positive learning environment
  • Plan, prepare and assess work where required
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support student progress

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for education and raising attainment
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
