About the Role:
As the Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of grounds and facilities to the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate.
You will perform a range of activities to ensure that the school is maintained to a high standard; follow set instructions; and have independence to perform a variety of day-to-day services that are routine in nature. However, the role receives regular supervision when undertaking duties that are non-routine in nature.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining school grounds, gardens, and outdoor learning spaces.
- Undertaking routine maintenance and coordinating repairs to facilities and equipment.
- Supporting school security and ensuring facilities are safe and well-presented.
- Assisting with the setup and pack-down of school events and activities.
- Operating and maintaining grounds care equipment in line with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and school staff regarding maintenance and facilities matters.

Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.
