Your Role

  • Provide day-to-day operational support across the school, including mail and document distribution, photocopying, classroom and event setup, furniture relocation, stores management, stock control, and asset record maintenance.
  • Support school security and administrative functions by operating security systems, managing building access, maintaining registers, and transporting school funds for banking purposes.
  • Assist with facility upkeep and event support, including waste management, drain and gutter cleaning, urgent cleaning tasks, rubbish removal coordination, and preparation for major school events and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements by maintaining safe work practices, managing chemical and fuel storage, identifying hazards, maintaining equipment records, and coordinating repairs and servicing.
  • Undertake grounds and facilities maintenance, including organising repairs, maintaining outdoor sporting facilities, managing supplies, liaising with contractors and staff, and supporting specialised equipment used within the school.
  • Maintain and enhance school grounds through mowing, gardening, irrigation, tree and shrub care, operation and servicing of grounds equipment, and supporting agricultural programs where required.
