    • Veritas Education are working with a welcoming and successful 11-16 secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees seeking to appoint a School Business Manager on a one-year maternity cover basis.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Business Manager, or an ambitious Office Manager, Administration Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Administrator looking to progress into a strategic leadership role within a secondary school setting.

    Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders, you will support the effective day-to-day running of the school, overseeing key areas including finance, HR, administration, compliance, health and safety, and operational management.

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working within a school environment
  • Possesses strong organisational and financial management skills
  • Can lead and support administrative functions effectively
  • Has excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Is able to work independently whilst contributing to the wider leadership team

    • Previous School Business Manager experience is desirable but not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced school-based professionals seeking the next step in their career.
