The Principal reports to the Board of Directors for overall leadership, governance alignment and the strategic and operational performance of the School. The Principal provides educational and organisational leadership while bringing clarity, stability, and vision for the future. Leading the Executive, staff and broader community, the role ensures alignment between Board and School, while embedding faith across all aspects of learning and culture. The Principal champions educational excellence, oversees compliance and financial stewardship, and drives strategic growth, innovation and community engagement in a manner that reflects strong Christian character, relational leadership and organisational integrity. The role requires both pastoral presence, executive and business capability, to lead growth, enhance pathways, and position Inaburra as a leading Christian school of choice.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Provide authentic Christian leadership aligned to evangelical faith
- Foster high-quality teaching and learning, and promote excellence in student outcomes across a K–12 context
- Build capacity in leaders and inspire a staff culture of collaboration, growth and high performance
- Deliver strategic clarity, alignment and disciplined implementation
- Demonstrate highly developed organisational and operational leadership skills in managing governance, finance, risk, compliance, staffing and resources
- Manage high level and complex wellbeing matters in an inclusive, timely and effective manner
- Demonstrate exceptional relational and communication skills to engage and build strong partnerships across the whole school and wider community
Offered as a five year contract, with a negotiable start date, applicants must have a right to work in Australia and be eligible for NESA teacher accreditation.
