Veritas Education is exclusively representing a primary school in the Rossendale Valley seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to cover maternity leave in its Reception class.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a passion for Early Years to help children build confidence, develop their curiosity and enjoy a positive start to school life.

The role

  • Start date: March 2027, with a possible earlier start

  • Duration: One-year maternity cover

  • Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scale

    • We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

  • Creates an engaging, inclusive and nurturing classroom.

  • Supports children with a range of learning needs.

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
