Veritas Education is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Leeds who are seeking enthusiastic EYFS Teachers for a range of long-term supply positions. These roles are ideal for teachers looking for consistency, stability, and the opportunity to make a real impact within a school community.

We are particularly interested in speaking with teachers who have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and can create engaging, nurturing, and stimulating learning environments where children can thrive.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within Nursery or Reception classes
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development

    • What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within EYFS
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting young learners during the early stages of education
  • Ability to adapt and become a valued member of a school team
