Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of welcoming nursery settings throughout York.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Assisting with observations and learning journeys
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Supporting daily nursery routines and activities
  • Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified and unqualified candidates considered
  • Previous nursery, childcare, or early years experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
  • A genuine passion for working with children
