Veritas Education is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join nurseries in the boroughh of Waverley. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting children's early development, fostering a safe, fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment, and helping each child reach their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build on their experience within early years settings while enjoying flexible work that fits around their schedule. Whether you are looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities for Nursery Pracitioner:

  • Support the learning, development, and well-being of young children through play-based activities
  • Help prepare and maintain a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment
  • Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and communication development
  • Carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the nursery or classroom

    • Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in nurseries, schools, or childcare
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
  • A friendly, proactive, and flexible approach
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Ideally you will have a relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
