Veritas Education is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming Early Years setting in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding.
As Nursery Manager, you will lead and inspire a committed team, ensuring children receive exceptional care and learning experiences in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in supporting staff development, building strong relationships with families, and driving continuous improvement across the setting.
What We're Looking For
Level 6 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related subject (essential)Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager within an Early Years settingStrong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirementsProven experience leading, mentoring, and developing staffExcellent organisational, communication, and leadership skillsA confident, proactive, and approachable management styleA genuine passion for delivering outstanding Early Years education and careYour Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficientlyEnsure the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance are maintainedLead, motivate, and support the nursery team through coaching, mentoring, and performance managementOversee curriculum planning and deliver an engaging, child-centred learning environment in line with the EYFSBuild and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionalsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Ofsted and statutory requirementsManage occupancy, enrolments, staffing, budgets, and resources effectivelyPromote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can thriveDrive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing development of the nurseryWhy Choose Veritas Education?
