Looking for flexible work in childcare that fits around your life? Veritas Education is recruiting Bank Nursery Practitioners to support nurseries across Leeds and Wakefield.

This is a great opportunity if you want flexible hours, variety, and the chance to work in different nursery settings when it suits you.

You don't need formal qualifications for this role, but childcare experience is preferred.

You'll be supporting nursery teams with day-to-day care, helping children learn through play, and making sure they are safe, happy, and engaged.

What the role involves:

  • Supporting children during play and learning activities
  • Helping with daily routines such as meals, naps, and outdoor play
  • Working as part of a friendly nursery team
  • Creating a safe and positive environment for children

  • Experience working with children (nursery, school, nannying, babysitting, etc.)
  • A caring and reliable attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work different shifts when needed
  • A genuine interest in supporting children's development
