Veritas Education is currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners to join a welcoming and well-established nursery setting in the YO31 area of York. We are looking for both Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners and unqualified candidates with previous experience working with children who are enthusiastic about supporting young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Supporting observations and learning journeys
  • Encouraging children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing
  • Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times

    • Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
  • Unqualified candidates with previous experience working with children are encouraged to apply
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework is beneficial
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
