Location: Earlsfield, Wandsworth (South West London) Position: Nursery Assistant (Supply) Start Date: ASAP Pay: £13.50 per hour minimum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive nursery in Earlsfield for a dedicated and reliable Nursery Assistant to join their team on a flexible daily supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Nursery Assistant looking for varied work within a supportive and nurturing early years environment.

The nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and engaging setting where children aged 0-5 are encouraged to learn and develop through play-based and structured early years activities. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, helping to create a positive environment where every child can thrive.

This Nursery Assistant role is ideal for someone seeking flexible work across different days or looking to build experience within a well-regarded early years setting in Earlsfield.

The Ideal Nursery Assistant Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Assistant or within an early years setting
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A caring, patient, and flexible approach as a Nursery Assistant
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is preferable

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Assisting with daily nursery routines, including meals, hygiene, and outdoor play
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional, and communication development
  • Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating early years environment
