Looking for an early years role that fits around your life? Veritas Education is working with a welcoming nursery in Wakefield to offer flexible Nursery Practitioner opportunities. Whether you want full-time, part-time, or occasional shifts, this role can work around your availability.

The nursery provides a caring and supportive environment where children learn through play, creativity, and outdoor activities. There's a strong focus on wellbeing and helping children grow through hands-on experiences.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll help create a safe and engaging space for children. You'll support play, learning, and daily routines-making each day enjoyable and meaningful.

This role is ideal for qualified practitioners or those with childcare experience who need flexibility. It's also a great option if you're returning to early years.

What we're looking for:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or relevant childcare experience
  • A positive, caring attitude
  • Confidence supporting play and outdoor learning
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for supporting children's development
  • Basic safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to learn)
