Maths Teacher - Full-Time, Long-Term Role

About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a motivated and dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting from October Half Term 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Maths department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and raising student attainment. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop confidence and proficiency in Mathematics.
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculumDifferentiate learning to support students of all abilitiesMonitor, assess, and track student progressMaintain high standards of behaviour and classroom managementSupport students in developing confidence and problem-solving skillsContribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiativesPromote a positive and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school settingDemonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for MathsPossesses excellent classroom management and communication skillsIs committed to raising attainment and supporting student successWorks effectively as part of a teamECTs are encouraged to applyWhat the School Offers
