About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure projects and programs are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and the department's approved project and program management approach (PRINCE2 and MSP) to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved.
  • Manage the review and assessment of projects and programs for compliance with the department's project and program management approach, and ensure the provision of expert advice by recommending improvements where necessary to ensure quality assurance requirements are met including monitoring and reporting on performance against plans and budgets.
  • Manage the provision of project and program management expertise, coaching, assurance and advice to enhance the operations of projects and programs.
  • Enable informed decision making on project and program issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for stakeholders.
