It delivers internationally-recognised products and services, working with key partners and community to support global learning and engagement in our schools.

Your Role:

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Global Engagement team within DEi as a Manager. Reporting to the Director, Global Engagement, this role involves leading and overseeing a team dedicated to developing and delivering various immersive global programs and opportunities for students, teachers, education leaders, and Queensland schools. These programs are offered online, as well as through outbound and inbound immersion experiences.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute as a member of the management team to set the strategic direction and ensure the development, implementation and effectiveness of policies, standards and procedures.
  • Effective coordination of projects and resources related to strategy development in international education and provide strategic advice on operational and governance matters.
  • Lead and manage multiple teams and projects and coordinate the development of initiatives based on priorities.
  • Establish and cultivate effective relationships and networks with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare high level briefing materials, submissions, correspondence and reports for senior departmental officers.
  • Use, model and build team capability in effective and productive work practices enabled by digital technologies.

About You:

The ideal applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Proven management and leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of international education and global competence, with a passion for fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and achieve required outcomes within set timeframes.
  • Capacity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High level written and oral communication skills.
