Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Kirklees. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students across Humanities subjects, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Education.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively.Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.Promote high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and academic success.Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.Has experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting.Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.Has a passion for their subject and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.Can motivate and inspire young people to achieve their full potential.Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.What Veritas Education Offers
