Humanities Teachers Wanted - History, Geography, RE & Social Sciences

Veritas Education is currently working with a number of secondary schools across Burnley, Accrington, Nelson, Colne, Clitheroe, Padiham and the surrounding East Lancashire areas who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers for a range of short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities.

Whether you specialise in History, Geography, Religious Education, Sociology, or a combination of Humanities subjects, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and assess student work where required
  • Support students to achieve their academic potential
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental success
  • Opportunities available on both a supply and long-term basis

    • We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced Humanities Teachers
  • Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, RE, Sociology or related disciplines
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
