About the Role:
The Human Resources Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of the school through the delivery of high-quality human resource and administrative support services.
Working closely with the Principal, Business Manager and administration team, this position contributes to fostering a positive, professional and people-focused workplace culture aligned with the school's values and strategic priorities.
A strong understanding of human resource processes and systems within a school environment is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, contributing to a workplace culture where employees feel respected, supported and empowered, while recognising that every interaction positively influences the culture, wellbeing and reputation of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support a range of human resource functions and workforce processes.
- Assist with and proactively manage recruitment processes for teacher aides and cleaners.
- Coordinate daily staff absence management and playground duty scheduling.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Principal, Business Manager and wider school community.
- Undertake routine administrative and operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, inclusive and supportive school culture.
How You Will Be Assessed:
